You have read in previous classes that I since ancient times India was an important trading centre. Merchants and traders from Europe and Asia came to India regularly. The frequency of trade increased in the medieval period. The Indian rulers also supported this trade as it was very-profitable for them.
আপনি আগের ক্লাসে পড়েছেন যে আমি প্রাচীনকাল থেকেই ভারত একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বাণিজ্য কেন্দ্র ছিল। ইউরোপ ও এশিয়া থেকে বণিক ও ব্যবসায়ীরা নিয়মিত ভারতে আসতেন। মধ্যযুগীয় সময়ে বাণিজ্যের ফ্রিকোয়েন্সি বৃদ্ধি পায়। ভারতীয় শাসকরাও এই বাণিজ্যকে সমর্থন করেছিল কারণ এটি তাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত লাভজনক ছিল।
Trade till the early seventeenth century, was carried on by Individual merchants and traders as they did not always have the backing of their respective countries. In course of time, this changed. The European countries began to form trading companies to trade with the east.
সপ্তদশ শতাব্দীর গোড়ার দিকে বাণিজ্য, ব্যক্তিগত বণিক এবং ব্যবসায়ীদের দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়েছিল কারণ তাদের সবসময় তাদের নিজ নিজ দেশের সমর্থন ছিল না। সময়ের সাথে সাথে এই পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। ইউরোপীয় দেশগুলি পূর্বের সাথে বাণিজ্য করার জন্য বাণিজ্য সংস্থা গঠন করতে শুরু করে।
