And:- Indicators are special types of chemicals which are used to taste whether a given substance is an acid or base.
Q2. What are the two types of indicators?
Ans:- The two types of Acid-Based indicators are : natural indicators and synthetic indicators.
Example of Natural Indicators are Litmus, China Rose and Turmeric,
Example of Synthetic Indicator is Phenolphthalein
Q3. What happens when we add acid on blue litmus paper and bases on red litmus paper?
Ans:- Litmus is most common indicator for testing acids and bases in the laboratory. 
a) Acids turns blue litmus to red.
b) Bases turns red litmus to blue.
