Biology <Respiration in organism, Forest: our life.>

Q1. Why does an athletic breadth faster and deeper than usual after finishing the race?

Ans:- Athelic needs to supply extra energy to his mussels cells which have worked hard during running for this, he breadths faster and deeper so that more oxygen is supplied to the cells. This speeds up the breakdown of food and as a result, more energy is realeased.

Q2. List the similarities between Aerobic respiration an Anaerobic Respiration.

Ans:- In both Aerobic and Anerobic Respiration, the food is broken down to release energy.

Q3. List the difference between Aerobic respiration an Anaerobic Respiration

a. Aerobic Respiration:-

It is the process of break down of food in presence of oxygen.

It's end products are H2O and CO2.

It takes longer time to release energy.

It produces large amount of energy

b. Anaerobic Respiration

It is the process of breakdown of food in the absence of Oxygen.

End products of Anaerobic Respiration are can be lactic acid or CO2 and Alcohol.

It is the first process as compared to Aerobic Respiration.

It produces small amount of energy.

Q4. Why do we often sneeze when we inhale a lot of dust-laden air?

Ans:- Sneezing exples the foreign particles from the inhaled air, so that only clean air enters our body. It usually occurs because of the irritation in the upper breathing passage. This irritation happens when we inhale some unwanted particles and they get trapped in our nasal cavity.
